I work in the cybersecurity team on governance, risk and compliance alongside my engineering degree. I automate security and reporting tasks (Terraform, Google Cloud, Apps Script, BigQuery, Jira), run cybersecurity onboarding for new employees (awareness training, a knowledge test and the security documents they sign), monitor security KPIs such as authorised USB devices and access rights, and track vulnerabilities by opening remediation tickets and helping users fix them.
